Shop Soft started the way a lot of good things do — quietly, in the in-between moments.
Between loads of laundry. Between doctor’s appointments. Between bedtime stories and the second cup of coffee that’s already gone cold. Between the version of life I thought I’d be living and the one I actually was.
I kept looking for gifts and little everyday things that felt like how I wanted to feel — soft, cared for, slow, safe. Something for the friend managing a chronic illness who needed a reminder she wasn’t alone. Something for the new mom drowning in “shoulds.” Something for my kid’s room that felt as gentle as I wanted their childhood to be. Something for me, honestly, that said it was okay to rest.
I couldn’t always find it. So I decided to make it.
